Matthew O’Connor has been a Producer, Industry builder and entrepreneur in the entertainment business for over four decades. The entertainment companies he has founded have produced over two billion dollars in feature films, long-form and series television; garnering numerous awards and nominations including Emmy, Peabody, People’s Choice, Saturn, Humanitus, Canadian Screen Award and the Golden Globe. 2nd unit directing has also been a passion of Matthew’s, with a focus on VFX, action and splinter units.
Matthew has also partnered in several other companies focusing on VFX, Post Production, Agency, Studio and Distribution. Having served as Chairman of the Board of Sextant Entertainment and as a shareholder and three term board member of Thunderbird Entertainment, Matthew has experience in public markets and the operation of larger companies. He has been active with industry associations, founding the BC producers Branch of the CMPA, where he worked the establishment of the federal and provincial tax credits. Matthew is currently on the advisory board for the Capilano University BMPA.
Paddy Bickerton is a lawyer with over twenty years of experience working exclusively in the entertainment industry, providing strategic advice with respect to the structuring and financing of productions. Paddy’s history includes her position at Telefilm Canada as a Business Analyst where she worked on many different productions (including the critically acclaimed Hard Core Logo), as well as extensive experience working in the private sector for production companies exclusively, including Reunion Pictures and Thunderbird Films. Working with the rest of the RPE team, Paddy will utilize her extensive business & legal affairs acumen implementing the overall corporate strategy, advising on all aspects of the company’s development and production slate, as well as acting as executive producer.
When she’s not working, Paddy loves to hike with her Golden Retriever, Frankie, and spend time at her family cabin on the Sunshine Coast, paddleboarding and swimming (as the weather permits!).

Holly is a Producer and Filmmaker who has worked in the industry for over 25 yrs. She brings a love of scripted entertainment and innovative production partnerships to the team. Committed to producing and creating compelling stories for RPE and its partners, she’s produced a wide range of diverse content including, the award-winning series Continuum, Genre Miniseries, MOWs and independent features. Holly also has a passion for creative projects including Writing, Directing, Halloween Costumes, Gardening, and teaching her children how to lose gracefully while playing board games with her.

Michael O’Connor in a previous life spent a decade working as a Set Decorator on numerous television movies and award winning series his first producing credit came on the Tri-Star action picture “Masterminds”. Since then Mr. O’Connor is well known for his expertise in producing complex effects and action driven pictures and shepherding the projects through to delivery. From 35mm to Digital deliveries he has seen it all and equally comfortable on set as well as a finishing suite.

Heather’s career in film and television began by accident in Saskatchewan in 1995 when her post-university graduation job as a PA on a series of commercials launched her down a path to the entertainment industry. Although she had planned to make more use of her BA Honours Psychology degree, Heather worked both on set and in a production office, eventually producing four seasons of episodic lifestyle and documentary television programming for Life Network and History Television. She moved to Vancouver in 2006 where she decided to try her hand at business affairs in an animation environment for several years. She returned briefly to production, in research and story producing roles for a variety of lifestyle television programs, as well as series producing a doc crime series for Investigation Discovery US and Canada. Heather’s greatest achievement in production, however, was the birth of her son in 2013, and she resumed working in business affairs the following year. Heather lives with her son and dog in Vancouver where she enjoys family time, being outside, and trying to keep her patio plants alive.

Lei Leng graduated from Simon Fraser University with a B.A. in Communications and Fine Arts (Film) and aside from a brief stint on stage as a lip-sync background singer for Puff Daddy aka Sean Combs, she has worked in the film and television in various roles with each position honing skills in creative and administration support for production and post-production. Idea girl, dabbler in lesser known Chinese martial art forms and companion to beloved mutt Olive, Lei Leng’s experience in the industry has helped her develop a sharp eye for detail, refine keen problem-solving skills and cultivate adaptability to new situations and media evolutions, to better facilitate the great story telling process.
Cassidy Cooper is a recent Capilano University graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Motion Picture Arts and a Certificate in Business with a focus on Media and Marketing. Cassidy has worked in the film industry since she was 15 in various roles both on and off screen. Throughout University she produced many short films as well as worked in supporting roles to help create projects throughout her four years at university. Cooper is detail oriented, a quick thinker and likes to work in fast-paced environments in group settings.
Lisa’s career in film and television spans over 30 years. She worked alongside Mathew O’Connor and Tom Rowe at Pacific Motion Pictures for several years before launching her own production company, Dogwood Pictures, in 1998. Lisa, through Dogwood Pictures, developed and produced feature films, such as “The Butterfly Effect” and worked with many international companies such as New Line Cinema and Lions Gate Films. Dogwood Pictures also produced television movies and mini-series for all of the major US networks. Prior to joining Pacific Motion Pictures Lisa was one of the founding partners of western Canada’s leading film payroll and accounting software company, Televector Disc, a company that was acquired by EP Canada in 2003. In April of 2004 Lisa again joined Tom Rowe and Matthew O’Connor to form Reunion Pictures. Since then, Lisa has produced or executive produced a number of series, mini-series or series including, among others, the Showtime series ‘Masters of Horror’ and ‘Masters of Science Fiction’.
